Sultana Tanjima Khanam is currently serving as a Lecturer of Economics at the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) since October 6, 2015. Additionally, she has served as the Assistant Coordinator of the Department of Economics and Banking, Female Section, from January 16, 2021. Besides that, she is playing the role of the Vice-President in the Economics and Banking Club, Female Chapter.
Tanjima earned her Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSS) and Master of Social Sciences (MSS) degrees in Economics from the University of Chittagong.
She conducted the courses of Principles of Economics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Basic Econometrics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics, Environmental Economics, Islamic Economics, Islamic Financial System, Economic Growth and Development, Introduction to Finance and Banking, and Introduction to Mathematics.
She has published an article collaborating with other authors in the Global Journal of Human Social Sciences, Volume 17, Number 2 in 2017. Tanjima is competent with operating the software ‘E-views' to find her quantitative research results and is trying to keep pace with the journey of research. Her fields of interest are Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Health Economics, Labour Economics, and International Economics.
She is trying to pursue her academic career with utmost sincerity.
