Sharmina Khanom is an Assistant Professor of Economics at International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC). She has been with the University as a faculty member since 2014.

Sharmina Khanom has done BSS, and MSS from the University of Chittagong; and currently pursuing her Ph.D. from the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), Bangladesh. Her area of research is International economics and developing economics. Besides teaching, she has significant contributions to research and publications. She has authored around 7 research papers which have been published from USA, Turky, and Bangladesh. She has attended many national and international conferences and training sessions at home and abroad.
