Md. Amzad Hossain, is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Economics & Banking of International Islamic University Chittagong.

He has done his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from IIUC with major in Finance & Banking. He has been awarded as Chancellor Gold Medalist by the Ministry of Education of Bangladesh for his outstanding result in MBA. He joined as a Lecturer of Finance in the Department of Business Administration of International Islamic University Chittagong in 2014. Later on 2017 he joined as Lecturer in the Department of Economics & Banking of International Islamic University Chittagong.

Eight (8) research papers of Md. Amzad Hossain have been published in International journals. He attended four International conferences as a paper presenter both within and outside Bangladesh. He visited India, Malaysia and Thailand for academic and research purposes.

He has also performed various administrative duties like House Tutor of Hazrat Abu Bakr (R) Hall, Coordinator of Masters Program of Department of Economics & Banking and Assistant Proctor in International Islamic University Chittagong.
