Dr. MD Jiabul Hoque is an academic and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering (CCE) at the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), Bangladesh. He has completed his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh, with his doctoral research focusing on developing advanced WSN- and AI-based frameworks for Precision Agriculture. He holds an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Greenwich, London, UK, and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from CUET, Bangladesh.

With extensive academic and teaching experience, Dr. Hoque has taught a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer science and engineering, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Internet of Things, Data Communications, Computer Networks, Object-Oriented Programming with Java, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Structured Programming. His research interests encompass emerging and interdisciplinary areas of computer science and engineering, particularly Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Meta-Learning, IoT, Edge Computing, Cloud Computing, and Wireless Sensor Networks.

Dr. Hoque has made significant contributions to scholarly research through more than 70 journal and conference publications, covering a diverse range of contemporary research problems and applications. His research contributions primarily address intelligent and data-driven solutions in areas such as Precision Agriculture, smart healthcare and medical applications, intelligent systems, IoT-enabled ments, and advanced AI-based computing. His work reflects a strong emphasis on developing practical, efficient, and intelligent computational frameworks for addressing real-world challenges.

In addition to his research and teaching activities, Dr. Hoque actively contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for numerous international journals and conferences, including those indexed by Scopus and Web of Science, as well as Q1 journals. His professional academic services include reviewing manuscripts for reputable journals published by IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, MDPI, Frontier, etc.
